Taking place in and around the National Waterfront Museum Taliesin’s seventh annual dance festival this year brings free dance performances to Swansea as part of Adain Avion, part of London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.

This year’s festival features a colourful promenade through the city with Willi Dorner Cie’s Bodies in Urban Spaces in which twenty dancers and freerunners explore their urban surroundings. Swiss choreographer Philippe Saire will collaborate with eight of Swansea Bowling Club’s oldest and youngest members to perform a new live choreography based on his 2008 short film, La Boule d’Or which will be performed on the bowling green in Victoria Park. We will of course see the return of festival regulars, County Youth Dance Company, and many more.
